Zoe Clark, the show goes on no matter what you’re into
Artist Statement: Clark presents a purposefully minimalist statement in order to allow for individual viewer response. This avoids imposing a singular viewing or understanding as a way to emphasis the personal, both for viewer and maker. She points to the individual as the holder and disruptor of interpreted experience.
Process: Through the process of making, Clark is pushedby her own neuroses. In doing so she accepts, fights, and seeks out contradictions. While material and execution are in constant flux, her neuroses remain.
Biography: Zoe Clark lives here, but is not from here. She is proud of her friends, 12128, and Container Corps.
